About plans

Who runs Chronika?
We do. Chronika is a managed service: we host it and keep it up to date. For single sign-on and invitation-only access, see Enterprise.
How do teams work?
Everyone gets a personal workspace. A team workspace is shared: its members record into it and read from it, and its guides can be filed into collections. People join by invitation link, either bound to one email address or open to anyone who has the link until you revoke it or it expires.
What can each role do?
Owners and admins manage members and invitations. Editors record and edit guides. Viewers read. Owner and admin keep every editor permission.
Does AI cost extra? Do I need it?
AI is optional. The person who runs the server sets the provider (Anthropic, an OpenAI-compatible service, Google or Ollama, among others) with their own key, or leaves it off. Without it, recordings still get sensible titles and step text, and you edit them by hand.
Can I export my guides?
Yes, on every plan. Each guide exports to PDF, Word, HTML and Markdown, and a guide can have a public read-only link that you can turn off at any time.
What happens when I delete a guide?
It goes to Trash first. It is deleted for good only when you remove it from Trash.
I’m the same on every plan. I edit the guide you have open, and I need an AI provider that whoever runs Chronika has set up. Until they do, you edit by hand.
