One link,
or a file.
Guides are private to your workspace until you decide otherwise. Turn on a public link when someone outside needs it, or export when a guide has to live somewhere else.

What does Share do?
Chronika lets you share a how-to guide with one read-only link, or export it to PDF, Word, HTML or Markdown. A public link works without an account and can be turned off at any time. Workspaces, collections and four roles keep a team’s guides in order, and deleted guides go to Trash first.
01Link and export
Read-only links, and four file formats
A public link lets anyone who has it read the guide without an account. Turn it off and only workspace members can open the guide again. For everything else there is a file.
- Public link: on or off for each guide, by editors and above
- The link is read-only and carries a Guide Me player
- Screenshots behind a link are served only through that link, and only the ones the guide uses
- Export to PDF, Word, HTML and Markdown
- Exports are drawn with the click rings and annotations a reader sees on screen

02Collections
File guides where people look for them
A workspace holds collections, and a guide can sit in one or stay unfiled. Everyone gets a personal workspace; a team workspace is shared by its members.
- Personal and team workspaces
- Collections with a name and a short description
- Deleting a collection keeps its guides; they become unfiled
- Search across a workspace’s guides

03Roles
Four roles, so the right people can change things
Members of a team workspace have a role. Invitations are links, either bound to one email address or open to anyone with the link until it is revoked or expires.
- Owner, admin, editor and viewer
- Editors and above create and edit guides
- Admins manage members and invitations
- Viewers read

04Trash
Deleting is a two-step job
A deleted guide goes to Trash first. It stays there until someone restores it or removes it for good, so an honest mistake is a click to undo.
- Restore a guide from Trash, steps and all
- Delete for good is a separate action, and it asks first

A deleted guide waits here until someone restores it or removes it for good.
